The Brentwood School Arts and Athletics Building hosts both sporting and theatrical events. Its simple massing and restrained detailing complement the architecture of the adjacent 1940s classroom building and help unify the school’s west campus. Open colonnades along two sides of the building provide shaded walkways adjacent to a curving campus plaza and a lunch terrace. Inside, an expansive gymnasium space transforms easily into a 330-seat auditorium to host musical programs and theatrical performances.
